I looked around...

Don't mind me, I'm only your dog, you know, your pet, that you saved from a life of misery and who can't believe that YOU'RE NOW PISSING OFF ON HOLIDAYS WITHOUT ME. I'm fine. Really.

...and there they were, sneaking out the door early in the morning, with bags and an apology (oh, and another bone).

See you in a week, she said.

Oh that's great, I thought.

Your favourite dogsitter will come in every day to play with you, feed you and take you for walks, she said.

Right.

Don't mind me, don't feel guilty or anything.

I'll be fine.

Just make sure and save up some money for my THERAPY.

Yep, that's what happened. My humans went away - diving in Papua New Guinea, for dog's sake - and left me to mind the house.

Again.

It's getting repetitive.

At least I got fed.

And walked.

And entertained.

Should I be thankful?

Probably.

Am I glad they're home?

Errrr, definitely.

Time to go snuggle and licky mum again.

PS The bone was a very good year.
Aromatic, flavoursome, challenging.
A cheeky little (big) bone.

I'm glad your Humans are back home where they belong- with you! I think they should take you on a fun vacation to a destination of your choice.

Your people sound like my girl. She thinks that if she sends Liz to stay with us, she can disappear for a couple of days (sometimes 2 weeks!) at a time. It just ain't right! Comet

Hey doooogs,

Izzy, yeah, I'm workin' on it. One particular holiday I remember fondly when they towed the boat at the back of their car...I got to travel in the boat. Convertaboat. Great fresh air. I slept soooo well. Didn't want to get out of it when we arrived, actually.

Butchy & Snickers, believe me, I'm workin' on the guilt. I know my mum feels guilty leavin' me, even if it is with someone I like (well I like anyone who feeds me really, tho' I know that's a bit dangerous). I kinda ruined it though 'cos when they came in the door, I was actually in view, lying down comfortably and lookin' quite happy. Should've had a distressed look on me but it was too late.

Blu & Comet, hmmm, sounds like a human virus. We'll need to keep a watch.

Chow for now, pawpals,

Tin Tin xo

Oh Tin Tin,

I'm so glad your humans are back with you again!!!!! :D

I know how it feels like, cos i experienced a whole spectrum of emotions (mostly BAD ones) when my mummy went away to study in Perth. Now that she's back for good, i'm a happy pup!!!

You enjoy your humans!

Glad you're back, Tin Tin. I had a nice little chew tonight, myself. A little tannic at first, but it opened up nicely as the evening went on.

Next time, try chewing a big hole in the wall. Then they'll think twice about leaving you like that...

Hey Tin Tin, nice to see you over at Blog-a-dog again

my humans lived in PNG for 2 years and did a lot of snorkelling and diving up there - that was before I came into their lives - which is just as well cos they wouldn't have been able to take me along, and 2 years is a long time to be under the care of a dogsitter

hope you've recovered from the seperation anxiety

It is great to observe somebody put enough craze towards a matter. I'm thankful that I stumbled upon this process. I am lucky I used the time to read on past the 1st paragraph. You have got a whole lot to say, very much to offer. I really hope guys understand this and look into our page.
