Of lookers and howlers
Here I am, contemplating the recent release of Pappy's Christmas Dog-Aid single.
(Actually I'm staring at the da who's walking down the beach with the aforementioned chips.)
Anyway.
Pappy's (who is also called Bob Geldog by the gorgeous Onion) hot new music release also stars me and a bunch of my fab paw-pals.
Pappy's fella is one helluva music vid director, that's for sure. He has helped me find my master's voice ('cos it sure don't sound like my ma's).
Hee hee hee - and to think I beat my ma to featuring in a hot new record. That shows her who's the famous one around here. Keep workin' on it, ma. Bring me my treat, bee-itch.
Thank you Pappy and Pappy's fella for making us look and sound so good. Mosy on over to his smelly blogplace there and howl along.

My Christmas card update
Woohooo and many thanks to Charlie & Opy, Comet & BLU, Boo and Cubby & Dakota. Such wonderful cards. I love checking my post office box.

PS ummm, no, a few more crumbs.
Some of you asked what that blue thingummy I'm wearing is. It's called a Halti or gentle leader (some info about it here) and it stops me pulling when I'm on lead. Which means I don't pull my ma's arms out of her sockets when I'm excited.
And I can still open my mouth and laugh and eat treats while wearing it. It's quite comfortable.
Better by far than those choker chains. Once at puppy school when I was being a bit...ummm...boisterous, the puppy trainer actually grabbed me by the choker chain collar and lifted me off the ground. Yep, suspended by the choker chain. I nearly passed out.
The ma was horrified, of course, and abused the crapola outta her. Not surprisingly we never went there again.

Glad you had a good time with the music video-- I was sure you'd enjoy it as much as anyone. Pappy, being a sled-dog wannabe, has a wide array of Gentle Leaders, Easy Walkers, and leashes. He generally settles down after five minutes, so I'm back to just a regular collar.

That's terrible how that trainer treated you. My mom used to help train dogs at my former animal shelter, and the trainer used to hit dogs over the head with a plastic milk jug. The shelter quickly fired that person, and replaced her with someone who used gentle techniques. There's no excuse for treating dogs that way. The gentle techniques actually worked better too.
I've never been trained. My mom thinks I need to learn "stay" though.

Hey, have you heard of Sensation harness?? I don't need it, but the Bouvier mum used to babysit all the time used one cause he loved to pull too. We tried the halter but everytime he pulled, his neck would be snapped back, and mum was worried he might end up with neck injury so she found this harness. It worked like a charm. Everytime he pulled, he was "turned" back to mum because of the design!!

My mom tried one of those Gentle Leader thingies on us, because we pull so hard. Hello? We're BORN to pull! I was able to get out of it in 3 seconds. Mom gave up and uses limited slip collars now. Good choice!

Tin Tin, my Mom tried one of those gentle leader things on me but I HATED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She gave up.

Thanks for the neato Christmas card. It's sooo cooools!
Lookin' at all your photos of you playin' in the big waters and giant cat box reminds Mum and Dad of their great time livin' in Melbourne and goin' to the big cat box. They still go to the big water here. I've only been once and didn't like it. The big water tried to catch me. Not good. I guess I better go agains and pee on the big waters and teach it a lesson.
Those chips reminded me of some of the food Mum and Dad had in Portugal. They reeeeallys liked the 'tosta mistas'. A grilled hams and cheese sango. Sounds sooo goods! "Hey Mum, can I have one of the tosta mista now!"
When I got back from the kennel, my attitude towards other dogs had changed. I was much calmer. Dad thinks it might be cuz they didn't use my Halti when they took me on my walkies. So Dad tried a no Halti walk and so fars I am doin' kinda okay. I think I should try one of those harness thingys Miss Sunshade barked about.
You look soooo handsomes in your Halti. Bet all the girls are afters you.

I wear a gentle leader now, too. At first I didn't like it, and I would not poop when it was on, but now it is fine.
Dakota has worn hers since she was a wee baby.
It is great to observe somebody put enough craze towards a matter. I'm thankful that I stumbled upon this process. I am lucky I used the time to read on past the 1st paragraph. You have got a whole lot to say, very much to offer. I really hope guys understand this and look into our page.
